FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A deposit of £100 is required to secure your wedding booking. This ensures no further enquiries are taken for this date and covers the cost of the trial in advance. All monies received are non-refundable and deposits are deducted from your final balance. Special Occasion makeups/ lessons require advance prepayment in full.

It’s worth mentioning that in Summer months key dates are often booked 12-18 months in advance. Please enquire for availability. To make the process fair I work on a first come first served basis so until your deposit and booking form is received I cannot hold your wedding date. I allow 7 days for this to be paid from first point of contact.

I take payments electronically via Bank Transfer. I take the full remaining balance after the trial is completed. Travel is charged at £1/mile after 10 miles. A full quote will be given including mileage upon enquiry.

I recommend getting together around 6 months before the wedding if possible. It can be helpful to bring pictures of the type of looks you’d like to use as inspiration. Check out my Instagram page as a starting reference.

Makeup sits best on well exfoliated hydrated skin. At the trial I can make some product suggestions if required. I recommend drinking plenty of water and skin supplements can really help. Keep lips smooth with a moisturising lip balm too.

I’ve done parties as big as 15 before but often bring another makeup artist with me to help with timings and avoid a super early start! I have a minimum booking of 3 bridal party members in peak wedding season.

Its best to give yourself plenty of time so I recommend allowing at least 3-4 hours including makeup, hair, jewellary and setting scarf. Allow extra hour if your photographer is around and you will have opportunity to get some beautiful getting ready pictures.

I’ve never had to cancel a wedding but should in the unlikely event that a situation arises that prevents me from performing agreed services on the wedding day I work with a large network of artist I could call on to cover me.
